Description
Inflation is the leading paradigm for early universe which is in good agreement with observations. However, there are hints of possible anomalies in CMB maps, such as hemispherical asymmetry. In this talk, we review various mechanisms in generating dipole asymmetry such as the long mode modulation and the imprints of a primordial domain wall during inflation. Finally we provide an effective field theory approach for statistical anisotropies generated in models of anisotropic inflation.
