The Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) is a future multi-TeV electron-positron collider under study at CERN. CLIC is based on high gradient normal-conducting accelerating structures. In the novel acceleration scheme of CLIC, the required RF power for the acceleration of the colliding beams is extracted from another intense beam called Drive Beam. In this talk we will have a look on the main features and challenges of CLIC and I will note most of the audiences may not be an accelerators physicist.
