The Symplectic Phase Space formalism in Field theories

In the first part of this lecture I’m going to talk about the recent favorite line in theoretical field theory namely Geometric Quantization approach. Briefly speaking, the aim of this line is that to change covariant formalism of action principle to time-decomposion one which is called Symplectic Hamiltonian formalism. Apart from new applications which have been found in Fluid dynamics, recently people work this formalism out to find new insight in quantum counterpart of gravity.
