Description
Large Hadron Collider is the world’s largest and most complex experiment ever built. As introduction, this talk begins with some technical and physics aspects of the LHC machine, briefly show what happen during data processing. Moreover, the latest results of the top quark pair cross section measurements are presented. The precise understanding of these processes is essential as they constitute important backgrounds for many Higgs boson measurements and also dominant SM background to new physics phenomena.
