Description
Supersymmetry was primarily introduced as a solution for the hierarchy problem and the quadratic divergences. In this work we study supersymmetry using the data of CMS experiment at CERN. The analysis contains data sample of proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energies of 8TeV, collected with CMS. The analysis is performed when a pair of Charginos decay into 2 tau leptons and 2 neutralinos. The stansverse mass (MT2) of two leptons is used as a search variable to distinguish between signal and background. No significance excess has been seen with respect to the predictions of the standard model, therefore, we find an upper limit on the masses of the lightest chargino and neutralino.
