Description
Synchrotron radiation is a powerful mean to obtain specific information in various scientific areas specially in the field of the oil and gas industry.
In the last few decades, a vast range of problems leads us to include contributions from many disciplines in oil and gas research studies. Besides, with regards to progress in mathematics, physics and computational sciences, the increased use of high technology solutions such as synchrotron radiation has become essential to involve in various oil and gas industries such as exploration, drilling, transportation, refining and reservoir engineering.

تابش سنکروترونی ابزاری نوین و کارآمد در زمینه‌ی پژوهش‌های مرتبط با صنایع نفت و گاز، همچون اکتشاف، حفاری، ترابری، پالایش و مهندسی مخازن است. محدودیت‌ها و دشواری‌ها روش‌های معمول، پژوهشگران و دانشگران این زمینه را در چند دهه‌ی گذشته به استفاده‌ی روزافزون از خطوط باریکه‌ی سنکروترونی هدایت کرده است. افزون بر این، پیشرفت در ریاضیات نوین، فیزیک محاسباتی و رایانش با توان بالا در کنار پیشرفت در تکنیک‌های نوین تصویربرداری راه‌کارهایی نو در این صنعت بزرگ پیش‌رو قرار داده است.
