Description
Recently an s-band normal conducting photo-cathode gun is used for studies ranging from structural dynamics to liquid-cell samples with relativistic electrons diffraction. I will describe REGAE accelerator touching its design, commissioning, technical challenges. Moreover other planned application of such a small accelerator in plasma wake-field acceleration as well as transverse electron microscope will be presented.
