It is widely believed that the magnetic field enhances the production of scalar chiral condensate that breaks the chiral symmetry. This effect is known as magnetic catalysis. The globally rotating matter aligns the spin of particles in the direction of total angular momentum. Thus the spin alignment helps the restoration of chiral symmetry. In this talk, after providing a general overview of the QCD phase diagram and magnetic catalysis, I will present some results of our study (arXiv: 2108.12760) on the chiral symmetry restoration of a magnetized rotating matter.
